• Email Addresses & Usernames: Collected strictly during pre-registration to notify you about updates and waitlist status.
• On-Chain Data: Publicly available transactions associated with your interactions with our smart contracts.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Facilitate the core gameplay mechanics (e.g., planting trees, earning POL).
• Send important game updates and whitelist confirmations (if you provided an email).
• Prevent fraudulent behavior and ensure a fair ecosystem for all players.

3. Data Security and Web3

Because tree ownership and POL rewards are handled on the Polygon blockchain, your assets are cryptographically secured by your own wallet. TreeFi does not have access to your private keys or seed phrases. Please protect your wallet credentials.

We utilize the following third-party services to ensure security and functionality:

• hCaptcha: Used to protect our endpoints from bots and spam. Your use of hCaptcha is subject to the hCaptcha Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
• Polygon Network: The decentralized infrastructure hosting our smart contracts.
